Here's a poem I decided to write, a true-to-life experience.
Sky
Toxicated
I was mean to you,
not noticing those tears which I thought were fake were true.
No, I didn't have a clue,
about how cruel I was to you,
I'm dumb and stupid,
I know that, my mind's thinking isn't rapid.
Tell me if you want to stop,
stop being friends with each other,
now that you're gone,
my mind has woken up,
waking up to realize,
that my heart was made of ice,
but with a single smile of yours,
you made it melt.
I asked for your forgiveness,
giving a sad smile, you said, "Yes,"
but before I jumped up to scream in delight,
you said, "I'm going to leave for America, 12:30's the flight.
My heart was shattered,
every piece was scattered.
Tears ran down my face,
oh, the salty taste,
I wanted to repay all those stupid things I've done to you,
after a month, no longer was I blue,
because we became so close like glue.
You were in a different country,
you were happy, loved, and free.
But even though we're 30 countries away,
in my heart, you'll always stay.
Even though you're away,
always remember, we're under the same SKY,
so when we'll meet after 10 years, I'll give you a
warm, welcoming hug,
and of course, a welcoming, loving "Hi."
